With two babies under our belts, we've become quite the connoisseur of baby blankets around here. Ethan LOVES his blankies... or "kee-kees" as he affectionally refers to them. So much so, that he was not willing to let his brother share any of them...so we bought all new ones for Wyatt. Seven weeks later {can you believe it's already been SEVEN weeks}, I can attest to these being some of the best blankets on the market:
This was gift from Wyatt's grandparents and it really lives up to its reputation. It's so soft and comfy, especially during these winter months.
Barefoot Dreams Blanket
Just like my robe, Barefoot Dream's material is super soft and cozy. Best part, is that it's durable enough to toss in the dryer.
Aden + Anais Bamboo Dream Blanket
Not to be mistaken with the classic dream blanket {which we also have but it's not nearly as soft}, the bamboo dream blanket is a bit heavier, but still soft like the others. It's great for stroller rides and an extra layer at night.
Blankets make such wonderful baby shower gifts and are worth the extra spend...especially since Ethan is still loving his two and a half years later.

Those are all gorgeous!!! I was always a blanket girl growing up, but Abigail isn't at all. I'm wondering if her little sister might be though.....we'll see :)
ReplyDeleteThose are all so cozy looking! We have a couple too--my daughter is obsessed. The Little Giraffe one in pink, we have a Land of Nod one (which has held up surprisingly well and is still really soft) and a Restoration Hardware one which is still my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love cozy blankets! Our favorite is the chamois stroller blanket from PBKids :)
ReplyDeleteI am needing to pick up a shower gift. These all look so cozy and soft, especially the Barefoot Dreams one.
ReplyDeleteThe bamboo blankets are amazing, is it the most embarassing confession that I've gotten in the habit of sleeping with one of Kenley's. She has one, but somehow her backup ended up in my bed months ago, maybe when I was trying to get her to attach to it (like A did to her A+A lovey) and picking up my scent, and instead I attached to it. Now, she always has one when snuggling in my bed, ha.
ReplyDeletewe love all those same ones! which begs the question how did we end up with a cut up sleep sack for blair's lovie? le sigh. i tried to change that thing out...it wasn't happening.
ReplyDeleteMy girl is obsessed with the Aden and Anais swaddle blankets as lovies. I have bought the dream blanket and the little lovies and nothing will do except for those original ginormous ones. I tried cutting one up into smaller pieces (so it wouldnt strangle her) and that was NOT THE SAME. ugh these babies and their own minds!
ReplyDeletemy mom bought violet a little giraffe pink blanket..its so soft and cuddly :) xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely saving this - I've heard so many things about the little giraffe blankets. I'm guessing I'll be buying all of these when baby #2 comes along :)
ReplyDeleteOh, these just make me want to curl up with a soft blanket and a sleeping baby.
ReplyDeleteThat was so beautiful, I love it. The color looks comfy and cozy, try White + Warren for more baby blanket. Thanks ! :)
