Gender Neutral Nursery

A little while back, I started dreaming up the next nursery.  With Ethan, I chose lots of color and pattern for his nursery.  This time around, I think I want to go with something a little different.  Regardless of the sex, I think black and white is really fun and graphic.

Of course, I am sure once we know, I'll change my mind again, but for the moment, I really love this look.  Several of these items are no longer in stock {like I said, I put this together several months ago}, but here is a breakdown of the items in the board above:

I think if it were for a boy, I would switch out the gold for this, this and this.

What do you think?

  2. I really love it. All of it! The fox print is super cute. I think that can go in a girl's room also. All kids like animals.

  4. Oh my goodness, you read my mind! We are not finding out the gender of bb #3, due on Halloween. That guest room you designed for me? (and I LOVED) Is going to be the baby's room, which is why I haven't done a thing with it yet. We want to keep it very neutral so that maybe one day again it will be a guest room (and the kiddos will be bedroom sharing) I've tentatively decided on keeping the beige and doing black & white accents with a pop of bright colors down the road. Love your style!

  5. I love it! It's so fun to dream up nursery designs. I had such a hard time deciding what to do this time around. Love the white, black and gold. And we did that dresser in my daughter's nursery as a dresser/diaper changing station and it was so functional.

Love that round mirror. I found one very similar for our nursery at Kirkland's of all places for a STEAL - $20! But it has rope instead of a leather strap.

  6. I love it! I've been wanting to redecorate Mila's room in black and white but will probably just wait until we have a second baby. :)

  7. I LOVE this! I'm also planning a gender-neutral nursery- there are so many more options and opportunities to incorporate non-traditional colors. White and gold is probably my favorite color combo!
