ReplyDeleteLove it! It's a symbol of hospitality and welcome which is why you'll find pineapple symbols all over the Ritz Carlton in Maui. Giving a pineapple as a gift is a sign of your intention to promote friendliness. I love that's it's more than just a yummy fruit!

I love pineapple- when I lived in Tanzania I would split a fresh pineapple every day with a girl who lived with the family I lived with. The whole pineapple was $0.75! Also love that they are a symbol of hospitality and the south. I think my daughter needs that purse!
