If you're like me, then you likely look to Pinterest for creative and fun ideas, especially when it comes to the little ones. I mean, where would I have been without Pinterest when planning Ethan's nursery or first birthday party? Of course, now it's fun to search for ideas on activities, fashion, toys and big boy room decor when searching Pinterest. I'm especially drawn to boards that have a whimsical feel...full of fun and imagination. Remember what it was like to play pretend? Or get excited for a major holiday? Or blow out candles on your birthday?
I've gone ahead and rounded up some of my favorite Pinterest boards that I follow and would love to hear some of your favorites as well. Many of these should not come as a surprise...so without further adieu:
Little Baby Garvin's board showcases all the fun and unique ideas that Jessica comes up with. I love how creative she gets, especially around the holidays and with her daughter, Harper. She always pulls out all the stops for birthdays, holidays, and decorating...and with another little girl on the way, she's been banging out projects left and right.
Courtney has darling taste and the cutest little boy, whose room she is currently redecorating. I love the camp theme she's come up with and know it will be perfect once she's put it together. I think it's the perfect little boy's room, in the making.
Minted's Colorful Mama board is full of excitement and yes, color. I love all of the vibrant ideas and whimsical choices for the little ones. These little potted succulents would make such fun favors for a garden party, don't you think?
Simplified Bee has the best Kid's Corner board that has tons and tons of great ideas for the kiddos including decor, crafts, fashion and more.
And last, the most whimsical of all, Disney's The Pirate Fairy board is filled with lots of imaginative ideas. What little boy or girl didn't grow up thinking they might catch a fairy {or at the very least, a firefly!}? And even at Ethan's young age, he knows how to make the pirate sound...arghhh!! Too cute!
And if your child loves pirates and fairies as much as Ethan does, then you will definitely want to check out Disney's all-new Tinker Bell movie, The Pirate Fairy now available on Blu-ray™ and Digital HD. You can find more information on their Facebook page and repin images on the Pinterest board.
