Easter Basket Ideas

Easter Basket // Bunny // Tshirt // Crayons // Pat the Bunny // Easter Bugs // Sippy Cup // Duck

With Easter less than two weeks away...I've started thinking about what I should include in Ethan's basket.  I feel like an Easter book and stuffed animal is a must-have.  Easter Bugs is actually Ethan's favorite book right now...I have to read it before bed every night.  He loves lifting the flaps to see what's behind the eggs.  And while he's not super into stuffed animals...I love them and remember my mom including them in our Easter baskets every year.  Last, I recently discovered Crayon Rocks and Ethan loves them!  They look like little jelly beans and are super easy for him to hold and draw with.

So, tell me...what are you including in your little one's basket this year?

  2. This is so cute! Easter baskets aren't a huge tradition in South Africa - unless they are filled with chocolate eggs but I have started our own Easter basket tradition for our little SJ. This year, I am including pajamas (a new Easter tradition for us too!), a fluffy bunny, a bunny book and chocolate eggs x

  5. Sooo cute! Love those little pebble crayons! It's my daughter's first Easter and she's only 4 months, so it was hard to know what to include in a basket - but I still wanted to do a little one! :) We're doing an Easter book, a sun hat, bunny ears (for photo ops, of course), teethers, and a fun Easter outfit.

  6. Cuuute! I've never heard of the rock crayons. They are too cute! Harper gets a Disney movie for special occasions in an effort to build up her collection. Along with the movie Frozen, she'll be getting some new Converse tennis shoes for spring, a set of pajamas, a new sippy cup, and a few toddler snacks. Easter baskets for an eleven month old are hard to come up with! haha

    1. I have an 11 month old too! Love the idea of building up the Disney collection. I'm also doing a sippy cup and toddler snacks, as well as some wooden stacking cars and a car puzzle (he has a thing for cars...) I think he'll be most excited for the plastic eggs though. We brought them out for a photo shoot and he was so mesmerized by them that he refused to look up at the camera at all.

This will be C's second Easter and I want to keep the tradition going I started last year...sunglasses, swim trunks, cup, book, and a couple little treats. Pretty much the same as you guys :)

  14. Ellie is getting a sippy cup too the fox one at target. And then she is getting bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and bunny ears. Still thinking of some other items but it's my first basket. There is always room for improvement!

  18. So cute! Everything I buy intended for the basket has gone straight to Kaitlyn already! I picked up a variation of the straw cup, a basket, some clothes, sunnies, books. I'll probably have to find all the pieces and assemble them together!
