I thought I'd write a little round up on some of the toddler products we're loving lately.
We have the BOB stroller, and while we love it, it definitely lacks in storage. Enter BuggyGear! They have an awesome BuggyButler that not only acts as a drink holder {and insulated I might add} but also has several extra compartments to hold your necessities. I especially love the cooler compartment to keep Ethan's food nice and chilled. BuggyGear also sells over great products for your stroller, like the B-Hook and BuggyGuard, which are great for trips to the park or when you need to lock up outside a restaurant. We used all of these products when we traveled last month and it definitely helped for storage and peace of mind.
Now that Ethan is walking, we are experimenting with new shoes. We currently love these Tiny Toms and he seriously gets compliments everywhere he goes. Such a stylin' little dude!
I was recently introduced to this organic Mama and Baby line called Earth Mama Angel Baby and I'm super impressed by their products...especially those for mama. The Natural Stretch Oil is supposed to help prevent stretch marks {something I was super paranoid about during my pregnancy} and the Happy Mama Spray is supposed to help with nausea in those first few months...and for mamas with kiddos, it can even help with car sickness for those long trips. We also love the smell of the baby lotion and wash.
Last Christmas, I was searching high and low for cute Christmas jammies, so I didn't waste any time this year finding the perfect jams. How cute are these Long Johns from Personal Creations? I love that they have Ethan's name on them too! They have a ton of cute personalized options for Halloween as well!
Last, we purchased the Ergo carrier when Ethan was an infant, but Ethan hated facing inward on our front so we didn't use it too much. Well, I'm happy to report that he now LOVES being on the back looking over my shoulder and it's super comfy for me. I hiked for an hour round trip and didn't have any problems. If you're intimidated by larger hiking backpacks, then definitely consider the Ergo!
So there you have it! What are your favorite toddler items right now?

Still meaning to try out the back carry w our ergo, though being preg I guess the husband has to do it! My only gripe about tiny toms is the gap between sizes, a grew out of 4s but 5s still fall off her feet.... Baby half sizes please!!! And I was a bit of crunchy mama when A arrived, I still have lots of the EMAB products, love they are natural and smell so good. The creamsiscle lotion got used up fast!
ReplyDeleteI just ordered some TOMS for Cameron! I can't wait to get them. :) I am so jealous Ethan loves the Ergo...Cam squirms to get out as soon as we put him in there! :)
ReplyDeleteThose TOMS are soo cute! How awesome that you get to hike with Ethan in the Ergo. Ethan is so precious! That pic of you two hiking is one of my favorites. His little face is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteWe love our Baby TOMS; they are so easy and durable! We have been through several pairs as Liam is growing like a weed! Great other recommendations too
ReplyDeleteThe Ergo is a lifesaver!!! Oh my gosh Mila loved riding on my back! Luckily Phoenix is okay facing forward but I can't wait to stop using that infant insert! Such a pain.
ReplyDeleteThose pajamas are super cute! Perfect for cold mornings!
ReplyDeleteLove those jammies! I've thought about getting an Ergo or some other type back carrier, but wasn't sure if Mac could be still for even a few minutes to get in one. He just wants to be down and running around, but I want a way to keep him with me and safe when we're at the airport or in a crowd. Might have to look into getting one.
ReplyDeleteOhh his bum will be so cute in those jammies!!!
ReplyDeleteThose PJ's - TOO CUTE!! Oh my gosh. I think Colton needs some :) What size did you order for Ethan?
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! We have the BOB attachment for the cupholder and a zipper compartment, best stroller ever :) Do the TOMs seem to be ok with traction? The bottoms felt kind of slippery, or it may have just been the pair I picked up!
ReplyDeleteThat last picture of you two is gorgeous!

We have an ergo too and I just love it!! It's so comfy and I have worn Ellie for a couple hours in it and it had been great!!!
ReplyDeleteJust read these, and love your picks! Waverly has Toms and we are loving the Ergo! She used to hate it too, but is loving being on my back!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute stuff! From the pjs to the ergo carrier to the shoes! You certainly know what to get your little boy. I love the pjs tthat it got his name on it. There are also stores that sell personalized baby shoes. That will also be great for him. The stroller looks nice by the way and so with the sprays and lotion you got him.

Quick Question (I realize this is an older post). Was wondering if you could tell me at what age you were able to actually jog with your baby in the BOB Revolution - without the car seat attachment. My son is 4 months old and I am desperately needing to start jogging again but I don't want to do it with the car seat attachment. He sits in the stroller we use for every day stuff (Baby Jogger City Mini) but thinking he might still be too small for the BOB.
ReplyDeleteHi Elysia! I can't recall right now, but I would say it's a judgement call on your part. If he has good head and neck control, he could be ready to move over. Good luck!! :)
DeleteThank you! We ended up biting the bullet and buying one (on Amazon brand new for $316). Couldn't pass that up after all the rave reviews - including your feedback! We have a Baby Jogger City Mini for every day, but I can't wait to start getting more active again and now I can bring the little guy with me while I do it. :)
