Finding cute baby shoes that actually stay on their feet is like trying to find the holy grail. We've got tons of shoes for Ethan, but do you see him ever wearing them? Not likely. They usually fall off...or he kicks them off...which is why he rocks his footed jammies these days!
But I am super intrigued by Freshly Picked moccasins! First of all, they're adorable. I wish they made them in my size! And second, I love that they're handmade and real leather. Last, I love that they are made with babies in mind...and meant to actually stay on their feet! Of course, with handmade and genuine leather, comes a price tag. So, ideally, I buy a pair that Ethan will actually get some use out of. And of course, what color?!
Do you have a pair of Freshly Picked moccs for your little darling? I'd love to hear what you think!

so cute! loving the hunter green pair!
ReplyDeleteJust ordered a silver pair for our little one (due April 29) over the weekend. Can't wait for them to arrive! There's something irresistible about itty bitty baby shoes.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I get preggers, I'm ordering a few of these babies. I have always LOVED them and secretly wish she made them for adults.. :)
ReplyDeleteHoly cow--these are really cute! Can't wait to *need* these!
ReplyDeleteSophia has a pair - I love them! They are still a bit too big, but they will stay on her feet which is a miracle - she has really narrow feet, and finding shoes is no easy task! Although they are a bit prciey for baby feet, I would definitely recommend them! Xo

I plan on getting A a pair when she moves up a size, her feet are still small, so when she hits a true 3 I think I'm taking taking the plunge... Love them
ReplyDeleteadorable. I am on the fence about them though because of the price. my baby seems to do fine in gap booties and shoes which are about a 1/3 of the price :)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable!!! Have you tried Robeez with Ethan? They are the only shoes that stay on his feet!
ReplyDeleteI obsessed over these shoes for the longest time and finally bought them during a big discount after the holidays. I will say my thoughts on them are only based on the product and not my son wearing them yet. I got a bigger size than he currently wears, because I was worried about the no return policy and I wanted to make sure he could wear them as long as possible.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I am disappointed with the quality for the price (even with the discount). I have seen so many rave reviews that I wonder if it was due to making them so quickly due to the big sale. I bought the walnut leather pair and with the shoe just sitting on the counter you can see a lot of the white elastic that is used around the ankles which bothers me. It makes them look cheap. I am also worried about comfort for my son who is now walking. The shoe is constructed where it is sewn together on the inside. The leather is pretty stiff and I am hoping the extra leather in there does not rub his feet. They are just about the cutest things when I see them on kids on the blogs so I am hoping I like them better when he can wear them this spring.
I have had the same problem keeping shoes on Owen. We've tried TOMS, which are so cute on babies, but they wouldn't stay on his feet. The only shoes we've really loved are Stride Rights, although they aren't super cool or trendy--just comfy and supportive.
ReplyDeleteThe moccs are so handsome! I like the blue for a boy and of course I love the metallic gold for a little girl!
I agree with Colleen, we love Stide Rights and they seem to stay on Sawyer's feet really well. Plus the baby socks at REI are incredible. They won't fall off no matter how hard he tries.
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute, we have the same problem with shoes for our Owen. I'm going to check these out as well as the other suggestions above. Our guy is getting so close to walking it's well over due to find some good ones!
ReplyDeleteI love these, but I haven't taken the plunge to buy them for Ella Sofia. I want to get the gold ones for her. And sort of unrelated, but I recently bought their mouse pad and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI totally would!! I would do the neutral colors so they match with everything :)
ReplyDeleteCutest moccasins, ever. I want a pair =)
ReplyDeleteEllison has 3 pairs of these moccs and I LOVE them. He wears them almost everyday.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable! I see a pair in our future for Weeks. I've had my eye on them for a while!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Natasha. Those are the absolute cutest!
