Happy Friday!
I thought I'd give you all a little decor update. I finally got around to decorating the mantel for fall.
Luckily, fall is a pretty easy season to decorate for. We have an abundance of pinecones right outside our door {I make Cassie jealous every time we talk on the subject!}.
This year, I took some twine and wrapped the mini pinecones which created a little garland. It was SUPER easy and required no glue.
I love mercury glass for this time of year...especially winter! So I'm proudly displaying my collection here.
And of course, mini white pumpkins are the perfect way to incorporate the holidays...between Halloween and Thanksgiving. One day, I'll go all out for Halloween {when Ethan is old enough to appreciate it} but for now I think this works for showcasing the autumn holidays.
Do you decorate for fall? Send me your decor links...I'd love to check it out!

love the simplicity of it and love the pine cone garland! it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove your Fall Mantel! I agree, until the babies are old enough to really get into Halloween, I will stick to "Fall Decorating" in general. Super jealous of your abundance of pinecones as well, that's awesome. I didn't do a lot of Fall decorating this year, but I did do a little to our porch. Here is the link if you want to check it out. http://www.dearbabyowen.blogspot.com/2012/10/pinterest-inspired-fall-projects.html

Wow, this is amazing! Kudos to you. Can you come to my house and decorate? I may skip over the Fall decorating (did have some Halloween decorating) and go straight to Christmas / winter.
ReplyDeleteI love vases and decorating, but one thing I hate is having to dust everything!
You did a great job.
