There is a lot going on this weekend between Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby!  As for my plans...it will be pretty low key!  Maybe a margarita mocktail is in order?

If I could do anything this weekend...I would love to attend the Kentucky Derby!  I mean, how often do we gals get to wear big floppy hats and dress up for such an occasion?  I saw this dress on Veronika earlier this week and love it!  And the mint is a fun accent color...naturally.

    I'm going to my BFF's baby's 1st Bday party which is a Kentucky Derby theme. Let's just say a trip to the fake flower department of the craft store was involved in the making of my Derby hat!

    What a gorgeous look! Wouldn't it be fun to go?! I posted a mint julep recipe today and was just trying to think about a way to make a mock one. Hmm. Tough, since bourbon is the main ingredient. ;) Maybe you could just do a splash of the mint simple syrup in soda water? At least it sounds refreshing! Have a great weekend!

    Going to the Kentucky Derby is DEF on my bucket list!! Would LOVE to wear a redic huge floppy hat and sky high heels! :)

    I know nothing about horse races but I think it would be fun to go to the Kentucky Derby one year. If anything to see all the hats!
    This weekend we plan to relax and go to a friend's Cinco de Mayo/ going away party. More than likely I will be having a Mocktail too.
