Now we're getting to the good part...the actual wedding! :) Today, it's all about "before the ceremony" on...
We held tradition on our wedding day and did not see each other before the ceremony. I loved the sentiment of seeing Ryan for the first time as I walked down the aisle and for him to see me in my dress at that same moment. And it turned out to be very emotional for me {thank goodness for water-proof mascara!} as I took my dad's arm and made my way through our friends and family to my husband.
But let's rewind a bit...the day of our wedding was spent prepping and spending time with my bridesmaids.
We all got our hair and makeup done at Ryan's aunt's salon and then headed back to the house to get ready. A little toast was in order!
I love this picture of all my girls helping me get ready!
I loved spending this time with the girls...everyone got along so well and it was definitely a relaxing day, despite what was ahead. Definitely a success!
I was so lucky to have all of my best friends there by my side. You can see Heavenly Mountain in the background...it definitely was a heavenly day! ;)
My darling flower girl...Ryan's cousin!
All the handsome fellows!
I was really pleased with how the navy blue and black suits worked together. Everyone looked so polished and classic.

Once our separate group photos were taken...it was time for the ceremony! I'll be covering all the details on Monday!
Now, it's your turn to share your "before the ceremony" moments...whether it's past, present or future inspiration! Head on over to Along the Way with V & J and join the party!
And here's what you can expect next week!
Have a great weekend!!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. My original pick was to put the girls in nave blue dresses just like your girls. But I found black dresses that I loved for way too cheap.
ReplyDeleteWe kept with tradition as well, and I was so glad we did. Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing my almost-hubby at the end - rather choked up - is something I will never forget. I was definitely thankful for waterproof mascara too! Can't wait to see more of your wedding next week!
