Happy Wednesday!
I thought I would check in on what's been going on over at the Schue Household lately. We've had some nutty weather...two big snow storms last week, then gorgeous sunny weather over the weekend...and now it's snowing again! Crazy! It's supposed to warm up by this weekend...thank goodness! Here's proof of the sunny weather:
Can't you just picture the belly getting a little sun??
Wilson LOVES the snow....he was actually panting in this picture because of how warm it was. He's definitely a Tahoe dog! Wilson had a good birthday this past weekend...our little furbaby is already 2!
Can't you see how excited he is? And how overjoyed Whiskers is? ;)
In other news...
I'm on the third book of the Hunger Games series, and I have to say, I'm losing steam {and interest!} on this last one. I know I need to finish it...but it is dragging on! Any positive reviews out there for motivation?
On a more positive note, I'm really into the new show Smash! The songs are catchy, the story lines are dramatic and I just love me some musicals. Anyone else watching? Also, cannot wait to see the finale of Bachelor next week. I thought the "Women Tell All" was veeerrry interesting. Anyone else notice how Courtney said "I cared about Ben"? I'm thinking this really will be the most shocking finale ever...or at least "After the Rose" show!
Last, I'm happy to report that things are moving along with the nursery. The walls are painted and the crib has been set up. Here's a sneak peek:
More details to come...but I couldn't help myself! I am getting so excited!!
Speaking of babies...one of my friends, Natalie of Nat Your Average Girl, just had her sweet little baby girl 5 weeks prematurely. Baby Blair is fighting to improve her condition every day but they could really use your thoughts and prayers. So if you have a minute, please stop by and check in on them.
Hope you all have a good day!

PS...only two more days to enter my Harvey Prince perfume giveaway!
omg i LOVE Smash! hahaha, esp that its after the Voice and Blake!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Wilson! He looks so much like Wrigley in that photo. As for Mockingjay...it was my least favorite....but it does get better. And we have that same lion! Can't wait to see baby Schue's room!
ReplyDeleteWe got so much snow yesterday, it's crazy...but I'm glad the sun is back out today! I love that you busted out the party hats for your pup's bday, that's totally something I would do. And yeah, Mockingjay is the worst of the 3 books, it's just not as interesting but you feel obligated to read it after finishing the other two! And I am totally loving Smash as well, it's just such a fun show! :)
ReplyDeletehaha love the first pic. Yes, I'm already addicted to Smash!! And I really did think the Women Tell All was good. There really was so much going on this season although I think Ben has been not so interesting to watch. I did catch that Courtney caught herself when she said I cared...then she said and still do!! Can't wait to see the finale.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Wilson! I love the crib and can't wait to see the rest of the room
ReplyDeleteHehe...How adorable is Wilson?! Love it. We'd always do a little celebration with Shasta too (Usually consisted of taking her to the pet store and letting her pick out a toy). We'll have to do the same with miss Hope! As for the Bachelor, here's what I'm thinking: Ben picks Courtney (that's clear...it's all over the tabloids already), then they break up because of her actions on the show. We'll see!
ReplyDeleteAgree with Michaela about Ben. Ready for Emily seriously this season has dragged. Crazy Courtney has been entertaining though. Love the sneak peek thanks for sharing! I just started The Hunger Games and am really enjoying it hope you make it through the last book, was the second not very good as well? xoxoxo
ReplyDeletei watch smash, too! i am a huge musical fan! :)
ReplyDeleteand i read mockingjay and it was not as good as the others, no, but it picks up, i promise! and you need to finish before the movie's out! :)
Your fur babies look so cute! Whiskers looks thrilled! :) Love that crib! Can't wait to see the rest!
ReplyDeleteI'm on the 3rd one too ... and i have to admit that it isn't as good as the first two :(
ReplyDeleteI really hope Ben picks Lindzi! Seriously, if he doesn't, he's just insane. But then maybe he did pick Courtney, but they're not together anymore, like all the tabloids are saying! Only time will tell!
ReplyDeletePraying for little Blair! I love the photo of the family. Whiskers looks less than enthralled! Ha.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the crib choice.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree, the 3rd Hunger Games book was my least favorite. But push through it!
Happy birthday to Wilson! We had fun skiing in Mammoth this past weekend...like Spring skiing.
ReplyDeleteHi friend! Umm I love Smash, we can talk storyline all day over chat. Wilson's birthday photo is amazing!! And ugh, Mockingjay...did I not say this was going to happen? It was a very hard book to get through because I got so bored. But it's worth the finish (just to complete it)! Miss you!!
ReplyDeleteI did notice that Courtney put her feelings for Ben in past tense. Hmmm. I'm just waiting for next week.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been freaky too! Warm one day and snowing 2 days later! Mocking Jay is definitely the slowest of the books, but by the end I kind of understood why. It may be just me, but I think Katniss is mentally screwed up by the end and the poor writing is an attempt to help us relate... just my guess.
ReplyDeletedyyying over the fur party! the hats, bone, candles - SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for more nursery progress!!!
Love Smash! And Mockingjay picks up at the end- you've gotta stick w/it. It does get bogged down in details of them trekking through the Capitol but it leads to a pretty addictive finale.
ReplyDeleteI've read great reviews on the Hunger Games, and now that it's coming out in theatres it makes me even more curious!
ReplyDeleteyes, the weather has been nutty! Even here! I can't wait for some steady warmth ;)
Awww, how cute is that birthday picture ;)
ReplyDeleteYour crib looks great!! I also am a fan of Smash - I caught up on our DVR episodes last night! So good!
ReplyDeleteAww, Max and I will pray for your friend's baby!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the nursery.
And Happy Birthday to Wilson (we just have a cat right now, Hermann).
I'm very jealous of your snow. I love snow!
My husband and I are currently addicted to "Parenthood" (the show), hah. Although I half watch it because of so much work and working on a creative venture. Great show though!

Happy Birthday, Wilson! The pic of him in the snow is hilarious. I'm really liking Smash too! I get so tired of all the reality TV shows out there.
ReplyDeleteYour crib! I love it already. And your pup is so cute, you have the sweetest family! Will definitely be sending up prayers for Natalie and her sweet baby girl.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Wilson! That is an adorable birthday celebration photo! So fun that you are getting your nursery set up, Natasha. Can't wait to see it. I will keep Baby Blair and his family in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am loving Smash! So great and so different than any other show! and YES I caught they about Courtney but am wondering if they told her to speak a certain way.... I keep thinking he picks her if he's kept her after all this?!?! Ah I'm ready for the finale!

ReplyDeleteWilson looks so happy! Love that picture!!
ReplyDeleteWe are loving Smash too- Im excited to see where it goes!
Your kitty looks kind of like my normie cat!
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of you and Wilson outside! And the picture of the birthday celebration is priceless! I'm impressed your kitty stayed still long enough to catch that shot!
ReplyDeleteI am loving Smash as well! I do nott like the blonde girl and am totally on K McPhee's side, ha. I love the intervention they did with her last week!
