Can you believe it? Half way there...20 weeks {more or less to go!} Here's the bump update!
How far along? 20 Weeks
Baby Size: A small cantaloupe...or the length of a banana!
Total weight gain/loss: Not really sure...it looks like 9+ pounds.
Maternity clothes? Leggings and my maternity jeans. No tops yet!
Stretch marks? Nope...rubbing oils and lotions like crazy.
Sleep: I'm still sleeping fine...not even getting up in the middle of the night to use the loo!
Best moment this week: Really seeing my belly pop this week, feeling movement and starting my registry!
Miss Anything? It was hard not having a nice cold beer during Super Bowl...but otherwise...nope!
Movement: I felt his first kicks from the outside this week. Really can't wait for Ryan to feel him!
Food cravings: I craved sesame chicken...aka Chinese food, for the first time, like ever. I think the salty cravings are making their debut! :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...I just avoid strong smells.
Have you started to show yet: Yeppers!!
Gender: BOY
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Still hanging in there...no real signs of it coming out. BUT speaking of the belly...I have a little {well, not so little anymore} mole on my tummy who seems to be getting bigger and bigger as I grow. Turns out...pregnancy hormones can have a not so pretty effect on moles...which I have a lot of. Awesome.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Really happy...this trimester has been a blast...I'm loving that I am showing now and just can't wait to keep growing and getting closer to meeting the little mister! :)
Looking forward to: Decorating the nursery! Ryan installed shelving and bars into the closet...looking forward to buying tiny hangers to buy all his cute clothes! Oh and thinking more seriously about names!

Half way!!!! The second half will fly by too! Pregnancy does have weird effects on moles...I have one on my stomach and it has gotten a little stretched out :) Hopefully it will go back to regular size after the baby is here!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the movement just the best :)
You look so good natasha! Such a cute mommy-to-be!
ReplyDeleteyou really are a cute mama. i loved the second trimester too. and it's so much fun to start buying stuff for the little nugget.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on being half baked!! SO funny about the mole, I just got a little mole/raised freckle on my arm, it's the size of the pencil point, but it's really itchy! It's the only reason I noticed it, I don't know if it's always been there or what.. oh pregnancy, what are you doing to our bodies?!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I just started wearing some maternity basics (gap body tanks - love! and t's under things for a bit more length, otherwise, most of my tops are hanging strong, I'm sure you'll be the same way!!)
You look so good! I want to see you modeling those Coach equestrian boots!
ReplyDeleteYou look great mama!! My moles seemed to expand as well. I even had the smallest little freckle on my upper lip grow as my lips filled out. My husband called me Cindy....for Cindy Crawford.;) thank goodness they all returned to normal size. Yay for being half way there!!

How exciting....I am 19 weeks, so right behind you! I started registering a few weeks ago because I kept finding things that I liked or read great reviews about and just added them as I went. It's SO overwhelming that I knew I didn't want to do it all at once. Good luck! I can't wait to see what you register for :) Where are you registering?
