How far along? 16 Weeks
Baby Size: An avocado-about 4.6" long and 3.5 ounces! Baby can start to hear our voices now and is growing hair, eyelashes and eyebrows! :)
Total weight gain/loss: Still about 2-3 pounds but the scale is starting to go up each day.
Maternity clothes? Still wearing leggings most days. I did buy a pair of Heidi Klum maternity leggings on Amazon and there is NO stretch to them. So strange considering who they're made for!
Stretch marks? No...rubbing lotions/oils/creams every day.
Sleep: I'm still sleeping well and still able to sleep on my tummy...with my left leg supporting more of the weight.
Best moment this week: Hearing baby's heartbeat! That's right...I caved and bought a doppler. I did not plan to do this, but I haven't seen the doc in almost 6 weeks and I couldn't stand not knowing what was going on! I'm really glad I did and can put my mind more at ease now.
Miss Anything? I think the occasional glass of wine still makes this list. But nothing else for now...just enjoying this time and looking forward to all the next steps!
Movement:Nothing that I can say for sure. Update: Last night I felt a kick! It was different from anything I've felt before and was very distinct! Really excited to start feeling Baby Schue bounce around on a regular basis!
Food cravings: Let's see...PB&J sandwiches, mango OJ, mint cookie ice cream...yep, pretty much anything sweet!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I thought I was over my onion aversion but I had bruchetta with onion last week and was NOT pleased. So I guess that's one still off the list! And red meat doesn't sound appealing at all either.
Have you started to show yet: The little bump is growing...the weekly pictures are helping me see that! But I get pretty bad bump envy when I see cute preggos around town! :)
Gender prediction: I'm still thinking boy...but really don't have strong feelings either way! We shall see! {Cast your vote on my side bar! --->}
Labor Signs: Heck no...still have a ways for this one!
Belly Button in or out? Innie
Wedding rings on or off? On...the winter helps!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!!!
Looking forward to: Finally seeing the doctor this week...yay!! And finding out when we will get to learn the gender. I'll be scheduling that this Thursday...unless he wants to sneak an ultrasound in...I wouldn't complain!! ;)

ReplyDeleteYou look adorable!! And tiny! I can't wait to hear what you're having. For me, that was the hardest part!
ReplyDeleteYou've got the glow Natasha!! Beautiful mama to be.
ReplyDeleteSo funny that you have bump envy when you see other pregnant women around town. Talk to me in 6 months :) So glad you are finding such joy in being pregnant - even with food aversions, etc. It is such a miracle and a gift, enjoy this special time.
PS You're sharing the gender with your blog friends, RIGHT??? I can't wait to hear!
ReplyDeleteYour happiness about the baby makes me so happy! I would have bought the doppler, too. I would have been worried as well. Can't wait to find out what it is!
ReplyDeleteCan you be my pregnancy consultant in a few years? ;)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! A friend of mine who's pregnant is very sensitive to smell. She is such a dog lover but right now she can't stand the smell of her dog so she had her dog stay with her parents.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous!! xo
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to have bought a doppler!! What will they think of next?! I'm pretty sure you knocked all those other preggers out of the park with your cutesie self!!

YAY!!!! You look so great & are moving right along! I craved sweets the whole time & anything with too much flavor (onions!) always made me a little uneasy... so I'm guessing GIRL :) So excited for you. Also, as you know - we got the white Jenny Lind spindle crib which I have always heard great things about & i love the vintagy look of it, paired with modern linens. Love!
ReplyDeleteUm could you be any cuter? I think not!
ReplyDeleteI had the opposite craving..salt, salt and more salt. Glad you are starting to feel better. You look great mama.

ReplyDeletei totally borrowed a doppler from a friend at your stage in pregnancy too! it was so reassuring to hear that little heart beat when i wasn't feeling much. you look so stinkin' cute with that bump! also, i can't believe you have been blogging a year!?! you have a ton of followers! you may have bump envy but i totally have blog envy... :)
ReplyDeleteI just love these posts. They are going to be such a fun memory for you to look back at. You look great!
ReplyDeleteYou know I ate mangoes like crazy and it was a girl...you never know. Tee hee!
You look great! I loved being pregnant - except for the morning sickness and leg cramps in the last month or so! What a wonderful time in your life! Just wait till people start asking to touch your belly! I always thought that was so weird when people did that to me but recently when a friend was pregnant I actually had the urge to touch her belly! Must be a mom thing! Enjoy this precious time!
