Now that Halloween is officially over and we're full swing into November, I am extremely excited get into the holiday spirit! With Thanksgiving only three weeks away...I couldn't help myself! I decided to set our dining room table with a fall decor and definitely had fun with it! Even though we're not hosting Thanksgiving, it was still fun to dream! :)
I haven't officially revealed our dining room yet, but figured you could get a sneak peek! Here is our World Market table with benches on either side. It makes for a great communal setting and we can always squeeze a couple extra guests at the table this way.
And here is my take on a Thanksgiving Tablescape!
I decided not to dress the table with any linens...I like the rustic look of the bare wood. But to dress up the settings, I busted out our Crate & Barrel silver chargers {an alternative to fine china on our wedding registry}. The silverware is also from Crate & Barrel...love the hammered effect.
The plates are from Pottery Barn {I'm sure you've noticed them in my recipe posts}. The napkins, holders, and crackled wine glasses are Pier 1. The drinking glasses were gifted!
There's our new bar cart! :)
The candle holders and canister are from Pottery Barn!
One advantage to living in Tahoe are all the FREE pine cones and fall leaves...picked right out our front door! :)
There's also a sneak peak of our office nook...a current work in progress. Out the window is our deck...think I'll have to get final pictures next summer!
I love all the fall colors!
I had too much fun putting this together...we luckily had my in-laws over for dinner so they could enjoy the tablescape!
Have you started decorating for Thanksgiving? Do you host dinner every year? Do tell!
