Friday Fancies::That 70's Vibe

Happy Friday!  Have anything fun planned this weekend?  Winter seems to have formally hit Tahoe...we got snow!  I'm actually ok with it now...it's November!  Time for things to get warm and cozy.

70's Vibe


But maybe not so much with this outfit!  Well, it's Friday Fancies, so I get to make the rules!  :)

I had not been sold on the 70's style until recently...and now, I honestly can't get enough of it!  The showstopper in this look is this gorgeous Mara Hoffman skirt!  I want to call it a "midi" skirt...but it's more like an ankle skirt...if we're going to be honest.  Either way, I adore it and can see so many ways to pair it.

Like, for example, with this striped top and fur vest.  If you saw my post yesterday, you know I am having a love affair with faux fur vests.  Best of all, the vest I featured yesterday is on sale!

This hat, necklace and cuff help carry the 70's vibe...I love House of Harlow for 70's inspired pieces!  The J.Crew bag is pretty great too...hello beautiful suede!

Last, my favorite find this week are these beautiful ankle boots...from TARGET.  Yes!  I definitely love these and feel the price is worth the fashion risk.

    It's funny how many of my favourites fall kind of into 70s style although I would never peg myself as identifying particularly with that decade!
