How Do You Fall in Love with Fall?

Even though I hate to see summer go...I LOVE pretty much everything about fall.  The turning of the seasons has become much more prevalent since moving to the mountains.  I love the crisp air in the morning, how the leaves turn orange, red,  & yellow, a cozy scarf, the introduction of autumn flavored lattes, and of course a flickering fire at the end of the night. 

Fall is when things start to quiet down around here, but to me, it's one of the most beautiful times in Tahoe.  Can't wait to got the festivals, drive through Hope Valley, and hopefully get to Apple Hill!  Lots to look forward to!  Here are some visuals...

I just love fall so SO much that I wanted to kick off a little series...


Since tomorrow is September and we're officially transitioning into fall, I thought this would be the perfect time to have some of my favorite bloggy friends tell you their five favorite fall items!  I'll be running this series every Thursday until the first {official} day of fall: September 23rd!

    I love fall! The smell, the crisp air, pretty leaves, cozy sweaters and boots, apple cider...everything!

    I love Fall more than anything. I cannot wait until the air starts to chill and I can sit outside in a sweater drinking hot toddy. There is nothing more beautiful than a crisp fall day! AHHH I can't wait! I think I need to do a fall 100 because there are just too many things I love!

    Fall is about the warm colors of nature and looking to feel warm and cozy indoors, fireplaces, hiking and drives to see the leaves, apple picking..it's a romantic season.

    Ohhh my gosh - you got me all excited for the arrival of fall!

    Fall is actually my favorite season, too! I love the crip air, the cozy clothes, the pumpkin pie smells & the changing colors of the leaves. It all makes me soo happy :)

    Gourds as flower vases? LOVE! Def going to try and recreate that. I also love jars filled with holiday items, acorns are too cute with the candels. I already had it "pinned" :)

    i'm with you! fall is my favorite season!
    there is nothing better than a tree lined street with amazing colored leaves.

    I love fall so much, I've been ready for it since we hit August! These photos make me miss it even more. But I just heard pumpkin spice lattes come out soon and that will truly make it fall for me!!

    I can't wait to wear my uggs! I also love preparing for Halloween! Getting our costumes together is the best part! I'm also excited to spend thanksgiving at Disneyland! I heart fall!!

    This blog post makes me really really happy...I love fall so much!! My 5 favorite fall things are: scarves, boots, chunky socks, hot apple cidar, and bonfires. :) Although I think I could actually pick 100.
