Friday Fancies::Nautical by Nature

Happy Happy Friday Friends!!!

Normally...when Fridays roll around...I make sure to align my outfit with the weekend festivities.  But this week, {av} of Friday's Fancies challenged us to come up with a nautical theme...and not being one to pass up such a challenge, I gladly took the bait!


But have no fear, I will still share my weekend plans with you!  Saturday morning is a baby shower for a dear friend and Saturday afternoon is a high school graduation celebration!  On Sunday, I have a fun progressive dinner that my Soroptimist {ladies non-profit group} members have planned.  It's all a little eclectic...I imagine a baby pink dress with grad cap and fork in mind if I were to try to encompass this look for you.  So maybe we should all be happy that a nautical theme took priority!  :)

Of course, the gem of this look is the lovely mustard colored Madewell dress/tunic/top...it's actually a top, but HEY!  I'm Friday Fancying over here!  :)

Since I decided to turn this more into a tunic, I paired it with this awesome Vix swimsuit and fun espadrilles.  Not to be missed, is the Kate Spade purse, nautical-inspired earrings, and of course MK watch!  :)

The GOOD news about this whole nautical theme is that it's actually finally WARM here in Tahoe.  Like 70 degrees warm {I know...we're not getting crazy over here, but hey!  I'll take it!}.  I am so excited to finally get the boat out on the lake...get some beach time in, and perhaps raft the river for the first time!
