{OOTD} My Real Recital Outfit

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had great weekends!  So as most of you know, I had our little cousin's dance recital Saturday night.  I wish I could have worn this outfit, but I ended up wearing this little number instead:

I just recently bought this maxi dress...I LOVE how long it is and I LOVE the tie-die!  I can wear it with my highest of high wedges and there is still room to spare...I'm about 5'6" so you know it's a little longer than usual.  But I just majorly heart this dress!

We had a great, relaxing weekend!  Yesterday was our cousin's First Communion which was very special.  Friday night, Hubs and I saw "Bridesmaids"...which I highly recommend...it's much more heartfelt than I expected.  And I'm sure the bar has been lifted for any future wedding shower gift...here's a little hint:

    All kinds of love for the recital outfit...I still haven't pulled the trigger on a maxi myself because I keep giving the excuse that I'm too short...turns out we are exactly the same height and you look amazing!     Great outfit! And its sounds like your weekend was a lot of fun. I saw Bridesmaids with my Mom yesterday morning and it was hysterical. Anyone who has been in a wedding will definitely find a bit more humor than those that haven't. And I will defiitely be adding it to my dvd collection. I might even make the boyfriend see it this weekend, for round 2 after the Hangover of course. Have a good week.

    Cute outfit - love the wedges! I saw Bridesmaids last weekend too. It was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing when they showed Megan in her mini van with all of those puppies!
