This post means a great deal to me, as I've been drawing inspiration from the colors of the sky and water lately. Living up here in Tahoe...where the two most important resources are the lake and the mountains...and we have over 300 days of sunshine a year...you can't help but notice the elements. Here is some inspiration...and an amazing giveaway I learned I won yesterday!

I think I need these...{Anthropologie}
And now for the amazing part! Recognize this room?
This room was designed for the Gilt Home Ashton Kutcher Showhouse-a portion of the proceeds which were donated to DNA, a charity started by Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore to combat human trafficking. How gorgeous is this room?
So the COOL part is that the designer is the same blogger I featured here and her husband Steve is the amazing artist of those paintings you see on the wall. Just last week...Brooke gave away two giclees and I was one of the winners!!! :)
This is #37 and such a beautiful piece! I can't wait to see how it fits in my home...and of course I will share it with all of you.
Be sure to check out Velvet & Linen. She has so many lovely and inspirations posts...I can't get enough of her blog.
